We Day

Teck is working with Free The Children, to raise awareness about the devastating impact of zinc deficiency and the importance of zinc for human health at We Day events in Toronto, Vancouver, Alberta, Montreal and Ottawa Region. By learning about zinc deficiency at We Day, thousands of young people across Canada will be empowered to help solve this global health challenge.

One Tweet, One Life

This We Day, you have the opportunity to save a child’s life and raise awareness about the devastating effects of zinc deficiency by retweeting the @ZincSavesLives We Day message on Twitter. For every retweet, Teck will donate 50 cents to Zinc Saves Kids in support of UNICEF, which is enough to provide a life-saving course of zinc tablets and oral rehydration salts for the treatment of acute diarrhea.  

Follow @ZincSavesLives on Twitter and watch for the special We Day message during We Day events for your chance to take action and save a life. In the days leading up to the events we’ll also be tweeting interesting facts and stats about zinc and health at @ZincSavesLives.
